Excelsior, Minnesota sits on the shores of Lake Minnetonka and boasts beautiful architecture – no two properties look alike. These Excelsior homeowners reached out to us to refresh their seriously outdated façade.
The results have to be seen to be believed. We completely reimagined their home near the popular Minnesota lake to match the bold and unique architecture of the small town. Their home went from a dull exterior with unmatching textures to modern, classic and timeless with the installation of weather-tested and maintenance-free James HardiePlank in the unique Rich Espresso color.
The use of James Hardie shingle shakes, also in Rich Espresso, honored the home’s original use of texture, but in a more traditional way. We completed the major renovation – and much needed, at that – by lining the house with crisp trim in the color Arctic White and adding touches of unique cultured stone.
These finishing details contrast but complement the rich espresso tones of the home.
