The before and after photos of this amazing transformation need to be seen to be believed. This quaint Minnetonka, MN home was in desperate need of a refresher, and the siding was just the start. In a faded, outdated color with clear residual effects of Minnesota’s tough climate, this siding needed to go. Opting for a more modern yet timeless color, these homeowners landed on the gorgeous, bold, can’t-miss-it color of James Hardie Deep Ocean.
Instead of moving in the direction of siding, the homeowners opted for shakes to give it a unique, homey, coastal feel. We weren’t done yet! To complement the Deep Ocean color story, we trimmed the house in the color Arctic Trim which provides it a stunning contrast.
Finally, we added even more character to the home’s façade by constructing a welcoming portico over the side door. This home kept its timeless feel, but it now looks decades newer and much more valuable.
