On this vintage 1920’s St Paul, MM home we removed the aged slate siding and stripped the exterior down to the original sheathing.
We then installed James Hardie Dream Collection fiber cement four-inch smooth lap siding. The corners and the window trim are James Hardie Arctic White. We removed all of his existing soffit/ fascia and installed a vented aluminum soffit and fascia system.
The front porch was sagging so we installed a new header (beam) which straightened it out nicely. To finish it all off we installed a custom composite railing on the porch roof.
